As Gaelige’s video makes 2nd spot in the SERP’s

As Gaelige’s youtube video, featuring "Call me blue" by A-house which was first released in 1988.  The second half features the Foo Fighters with "This is a call".  There’s a picture of some briefs nearly half way through - it may have been targetted to be the image of the video as youtube takes a clip at the half way point and uses it as the video thumbnail.  However in this case the briefs are just before the halfway mark and aren’t used.

While this cannot be a winner (as it is not a new domain), it can be used to pass some link love to "As Gaelige’s" site which is asgaelige.com.  As Gealige is doing what is recommended in SEO, providing good content.  However the question will be, is it good enough.  So far it’s not working, but it’s still early days.

Dara from “As Gaelige” is a determined player

Taking advantage of free press release sites can be useful for building your PR.  Gaelige has availed of the site http://pressreleasepoint.com with this http://pressreleasepoint.com/geansai-gorm-stirs-irish-seo-community-action post.  I’m not sure how well they vet their press releases, obviously not closely enough.

As Gaelige is the latest entrant from Dara Ward

Self described "internet entrepreneur", Dara Ward, a man who usually targets the Irish holiday accommodation sector, has turned his hand to winning the Geansai Gorm contest with www.asgaelige.com (it seems the correct spelling was already taken and parked by Florida based Dermot O’Brien).

Dara has already started to use his extensive network of domains, such as http://www.irishhotelguide.net/ where he has a blog post entitled "What is a Geansai Gorm?".  We can expect to see more links on donegalthatchcottages.com, curlyworm.com, dublinhotelreservations.com/, irishaccommodationguide.com/, Ireland-123.com, selfcateringreservations.com/, dublinguesthouseguide.com, saintpatricksland.com etc. etc. The only thing is….they don’t seem to have huge page rank or Alexa scores, so it remains to be seen as to how useful they will be.

In any case Dara has an SEO business that he is building, located at transsolve.com and presumably should he be victorious, he will use plaudits to promote his optimisation business.
